Entry requirements for E Y E It has been confirmed that anyone who wishes to embark upon the new Early Years Educator programme (from September 2014) will need to have English and Maths GCSE at C grade or above. Staff holding existing qualifications will still be able to practice. The new requirements will not be applied retrospectively. This will ensure that practitioners already holding qualifications are not disadvantaged.
